A community resource conveniently located at 501 Summer Street in downtown Stamford, the Laurel House Treasure Hunters Thrift Store is open to the general public and carries a wide array of gently used furniture, clothing and household items at affordable prices.
At Treasure Hunters, Laurel House program participants work side-by-side with community volunteers in every aspect of store operations including sales, pricing, inventory care and display, pickups, deliveries, and customer service. The store provides an ideal opportunity for our participants to develop and strengthen skills that will benefit them in a paying job, while working with the public and volunteers.
Laurel House is a non-profit organization, so your donation of goods will be tax-deductible. All donated items either benefit participants in our programs or are re-sold to the public.
